IOWN Global Forum steps into its 2nd phase of proving its business value through Proof of Concept (PoC) activities. With the active members of Ericsson, Nokia, Red Hat, and SONY, the panel discusses specific PoC activities such as optical communication infrastructure that supports next-gen mobile network, next-gen computing infrastructure that supports information processing in data-centric society, use cases such as inspections by remote control of robots in factories, and building of test environments etc.
The IOWN Global Forum will be participating in a panel discussion, presentation, and exhibition at the upcoming 2022 Tron Symposium.
On April 25-27, 2023, IOWN Global Forum hosted its third annual member meeting in Osaka, Japan. With nearly 400 registrants from 78 organizations, and 175 members participating online from around the world, the meeting fostered significant collaboration and discussion about the Forum’s goals and vision for the near future.
On September 5-8, 2023, IOWN Global Forum hosted its 6th Member Meeting in Munich, Germany, welcoming nearly 200 registrants from over 45 organizations, and well over an additional 220 online participants from 19 different countries. The meeting fostered significant collaboration with a strong theme of innovation as the Forum prepares to enter its Phase 3.
